MKEA, Inc. PRIVACY POLICY
MKEA, THE MASTER'S KIDS EVANGELISTIC ASSOCIATION, INC.
MKEA follows the FTC guidelines for compliance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection
Act and Rule. Verifiable parental permission is required prior to the collection of any personal
information.
No personal information provided to MKEA is sold or rented to any third parties.
MKEA KIDS TEAMS
To sign-up, kids under13 are required to provide their e-mail address and their parent's e-
mail address. The parent's e-mail address is only used to notify parents that their child has
signed-up to join one of the MKEA support teams and to give parents the chance to approve
or disapprove their commitment. The child's e-mail address is only used to send them a thank
you response. A child or their parent can delete the child's commitment from any Partner
Team by contacting MKEA at teams@mkea.org
WHAT INFO IS COLLECTED?
When a visitor to MKEA wants to post something on the site (like jokes for PVCMan), we ask
kids to provide info that is not personally identifiable (first name only, age and the country
they live in). This information is included with their posted content and not used for any other
purposes. All postings to MKEA are screened by adult staff members before appearing on the
site to help ensure children's online safety and privacy. Users are not allowed to post any
personally identifiable information. MKEA does not require children to disclose any more
information than is reasonably necessary to participate in a given activity.
MKEA TEAM PARTNERS
When a child under 13 wants to become a Kids Team Partner, we ask their parents to provide
the following information:
- Child's first and last name
- Child's date of birth
- Child's gender and country
- Child's e-mail address
- Parent's name
- Parent's e-mail address and telephone number
MKEA uses this information to create and maintain separate Kids Team records for each
child. E-mail addresses are used to communicate with MKEA Kids Team members and their
parents about their commitments and donations to MKEA. Gender and Country are asked to
help us develop the most appropriate content for our visitors. None of this information is sold
or rented to any third parties. Parent's e-mail address and telephone number are used to
verify information for children under 13. Commitments and donations will not be accepted by
children under 13 until the parental permission is verified.
We encourage parents to be involved with all of their child's online activities with MKEA.
